TEVIN FARMER KO1 YONFREZ PAREJO
(1:19)
Main Event -
Junior Welterweight Bout - 8 Rounds
Tevin Farmer wasted no time in the main event. In fact, the crowd
barely had time to settle into their seats before Farmer closed the
show with a first-round finish. Farmer came out aggressively from
the opening bell, pressing forward and working to the body. He
hunted Parejo early and quickly found his opening, finishing his
opponent with a sneaky left hand. Farmer dropped Parejo and the
fight ended by knockout at 1:19 of round one. Referee Shawn Clark
tolled the ten-count. This was Farmer's first fight in eleven months
and his first win after four losses. The victory improved his record
to 34-9-1, 9 KOs, 1 No Contest. Parejo, a Las Vegas-based
Venezuelian, lost his fifth straight and went home 24-9-1, 12 KOs.

JASON SOSA W8 EMMANUEL MORALES RODRIGUEZ (Unanimous)
Lightweight - 8 Rounds
The early part of the fight was
measured as both fighters looked for openings. By the second round,
the pace changed. Sosa and Rodriguez Began landing hard shots and
trading more often. The action continued into the third round with
both fighters working close, along the ropes. The exchanges stayed
competitive, but Sosa, Camden, NJ, did enough over the course of the fight to
earn the decision. Two of the three offical judges (Nicholas
Chimienti and Robert Rubnitz) scored the fight an 80-72 shutout for
Sosa, while the third judge (?) gave Rodriguez one round, and scored the bout
79-73. The referee was David Fields. Sosa was emotional after his
second comeback fight in ten months (and his first on US soil) against
the very sturdy Rodriguez. Sosa declared "Jesus is real!" in his
post-fight interview. The win upped his record to 25-4-4, 17 KOs.
The defeat evened out the record of Rodriguez, Cidra, PR, 10-10, 6
KOs.

EVERLON STILL TKO5 CALI BOX (2:41)
Super Middleweight Bout - 6 Rounds
This rematch opened with nervous energy from both sides. In
February, this pair fought to a 6-round draw at the same venue. This
time, the action was even early on, as each fighter worked to settle
into the fight. As the rounds continued, Everlon Still began to take
over. By the fifth round, he broke through in a major way. Still
scored the first rknockdown and quickly followed it with a second.
Referee Shawn Clark stepped in and stopped the fight at 2:41 of
round five. Still won by TKO and had an emotional moment afterward.
"When I smile, it's over," he said after the fight. Still also noted
that it was the first fight his son had watched. The win made Still,
Voorhees, NJ, 5-2-1, 3 KOs. Box, Franklin Township, NJ, lost for the
first tim and left 5-1-1, 2 KOs.

DEVON ROSA W4 MARCUS DECAMP (Unanimous)
Bantamweight Bout - 4 Rounds In his pro debut, Philly's
Devon Rosa took control early by scoring a knockdown in the first
round. From there, Rosa dictated much of the action through the
middle rounds. Decamp, Battle Creek, MI, continued to come forward
despite falling behind, However, Rosa stayed composed and controlled
the pace. As the fight entered the fourth and final round, Decamp
increased the pressure, knowing he likely needed a big finish to
win. Rosa slowed the momentum by tying up Decamp to prevent extended
changes. Rosa, 1-0, won by unanimous decision with three scores of
39-36 (Gail Jasper, Alexander Roman, Robert Rubnitz). Decamp fell to
1-12. The referee was David Fields.

DARRYL CRAIG W4 MICHAEL RUIZ (Majority)

contested from the start. Neither fighter separated himself early,
nnd both had success during stretches of the bout. Debuting Craig,
Ocean City, NJ, began to take control in the later rounds and closed
stronger than Ruiz. His work down the stretch gave him enough to
pull ahead on two of the three scorecards. Judges Tony Lundy and
Alexander Roman scored the fight for Craig (both 39-37), while
Nicholas Chimienti had it even, 38-38. With the majority decision
win, Craig left 1-0. Ruiz, Toms River, NJ, went home 2-9-2. The
